Admin Overview

The admin panel is where you and your team run the business. This page explains the layout so you can find things quickly.

Signing in

Go to /admin/ on your DetailByte address and sign in with the owner account we set up for you: full access to everything, including Settings and Licence. If you forget your password, use the Forgot password link on the login screen (this requires email to be configured).

Layout

The panel has a sidebar on the left (main navigation) and a top bar showing the current page title and a notifications bell (đź””).

Notifications bell

The bell in the top bar shows in-app alerts that need your attention, such as:

  • A draft booking that has sat untouched for over 24 hours.
  • A job that is running over its expected finish time.
  • A customer who has automatically qualified for VIP.

These are internal reminders for you, separate from the emails/SMS sent to customers.

Where to find everything else

Some features live inside Settings rather than the main sidebar:

  • Templates and Automations → Settings → Notifications & Automations.
  • Loyalty, VIP rules, Coupons, Job Packages → Settings → Customer Programs.

The Settings Reference lists every tab.
